Pharma
Holdings launches Med-Rx Supply
division …
February
23, 2005 – Pharma Holdings
announced today the successful
launch of their new wholesale
medical company called Med-Rx
Supply.
Med-Rx Supply
will operate as a first–level
wholesaler and distributor
of both prescription and non-prescription
medications to the medical
marketplace. According to
Edward Klapp, President of
Pharma Holdings, this new
division would quickly become
the most profitable sector
of the company.
In the
first contract Med-Rx received
an order from Ultra Care Pharmacy
to purchase $1 million in
pharmaceutical medications
per month for the remainder
of 2005. In the second contract,
Med-Rx received an order from
Life Care Diabetic Supply
to exclusively provide all
of their diabetic supplies
and medications. This deal
is valued at more than $10
million annually. The most
recent order was received
today from Stone Medical Group
to supply non-prescription
consumables on a monthly basis.
The annual contract is valued
at more than $15 million.
Med-Rx
Supply plans to hire a national
sales force and develop on
online presence as a premiere
medical wholesale distributor
in the United States and Canada.
Once our online presence is
established, prospective customers
will be able to shop from
our website and place orders
electronically.
According
to Mr. Klapp, the true benefit
is that Med-Rx Supply offers
savings ranging from 10% to
30% as compared to typical
medical wholesale companies.
